Courvoisier’s award-winning X.O. Cognac is made by their master blender selecting a few different eaux de vier. Eaux de vier are brandies that in this case have been aged for anywhere from 11 to 25 years. The different eaux de vier are blended together to create the product you get in the bottle. This method puts all the focus on the complex, rich flavor of cognac.

It is aged three times. First in new Troncais and Limousin barrels, then oak barrels and finally for two more years on the Charente River. The cognac is intense and aromatic with a silky smooth texture. The aroma consists of candied oranges, iris and crème brûlée.
