Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2016 is produced in New Zealand from hand-picked grapes. The wine is aged in open steel tanks after a pre-fermentation. Next, the wine is fermented with naturally occurring yeast. After three weeks of fermentation, the grapes are pressed and transferred to French oak barrels where they are aged for one year.

This process results in a red wine that has a strong aroma and flavor of dark plums and a hint of blueberries, spicy sandalwood and smoked bacon. The wine has a velvety finish. Enjoy this wine on its own or with both light and dark meat.
