Geranium Gin is produced by Danish Henrik Hammer, Henrik is a former business consultant, but today works with producing premium gin in ultra-high quality.

He’s also behind the rather old-school “Old English Gin”.

Geranium is highly regarded and highly rated all over the world. The geranium used in Geranium Gin comes from a nursery near Hedehusene on Zealand, Historically, the geranium plant (called Storkenæb in Danish), like juniper berries, has been used in folk medicine and health food for centuries. Often in combination with other typical ingredients known from gin production, such as coriander, lemon and angelica. This is therefore not the first time geranium and juniper have been combined. The actual production of the gin takes place at Langley Distillery in Birmingham, England. Here, the ingredients are macerated for 48 hours in neutral alcohol derived from wheat and then distilled in a copper pot still called Constance (which is over 100 years old). The gin is then shipped to Denmark to be bottled in the characteristic angular bottle.
