The Veuve Clicquot winery dates back to 1772, when founder Philippe Clicquot’s intentions were clear. He would travel the four corners of the country to find the best champagne vineyards and sell it to foreigners. The fate of the house was sealed with these goals, which were quickly achieved due to Philippe’s many expeditions to Italy, then Germany and Switzerland the following year, then Russia in 1790 and the USA in 1782.

Veuve Clicquot Demi-Sec is a fine, sparkling wine that meets the eye. The champagne has a beautiful yellow color with deep golden highlights. The aroma is rich with ripe fruits, candied fruits and berry juices, with hints of brioche. In the mouth, it shows both roundness and softness, which is combined with a delicate freshness due to its soft acidity. The aromas of ripe fruits are very evident on the palate.
