This Champagne Brut Selection is produced at Veuve Doussot, located in the charming village of Noé-les-Maillets in the heart of the Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne. The domain’s 21 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are cultivated according to sustainable principles and with respect for nature. The man behind this amazing Champagne Brut is Stéphane Joly, the 3rd generation of Veuve Doussot. For him, it is a philosophy and a way of life to continue the family’s proud traditions for more than 100 years. He strives to create round, fruity and delicate Champagnes as a key part of the domain’s signature. All stages of production take place at the winery using methods that combine tradition and technology, following the motto: “Our Champagnes are produced slowly, with patience”. Champagne Brut Selection consists of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay grapes, which are aged 15 months “sur lie” in Veuve Doussot’s underground cellars before being released. The color of the wine is beautiful with golden hues. The aroma is delicate with aromas of flowers and fresh citrus. The taste is dry, rich and round with persistent bubbles.
