This Italian red wine comes from the Sartori winery in the Rosso Veronese region of Italy. The wine is made from the Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina grape varieties grown on Sartori’s own vineyards. The wine is made using the Ripasso method, where the wine goes through the fermentation process twice. The second time is on the pomace of grapes used to make Amarone.

The wine has a full, silky body. Its bouquet is intense and its finish gives a hint of cherry. Enjoy it with pasta, game, lamb or beef. It can be drunk immediately, but also has clear potential as a laying down wine.
