The grapes for Tenuta da Mar “Opera Terza” Amarone are hand-picked at the end of September and collected in small 5 kg boxes to protect them from too much pressure.

After picking, the drying process begins, which lasts around 120 days. This achieves a high concentration of the wine, which increases the sugar content. After drying, the grapes are pressed and then refined in oak barrels. Tenuta da Mar’s Amarone is a full-bodied and powerful wine, with fine complexity. It has a very distinctive Amarone flavor – without the excessive sweetness of many other wines from this area. It’s a wine with superb richness and an extremely nice balance.

The color is deep ruby and garnet red. The bouquet is characterized by blackberries, ripe cherries and a spicy finish. The taste is intense, full-bodied and well-balanced. An Amarone from Tenuta da Mar that the house can be proud of. Goes well with roasted and grilled meat, game and nice ripe cheese.

It is elegant and powerful in flavor. It should be enjoyed new and for the next 4-6 years.
